“Growing up, my family was very poor. I was also overweight most of my life.
Determined to change that, I would wake up every morning at 4am and head to the gym. After the gym, I would work my full-time job, my business, and odd jobs as long as each day will allow. By the time I would get home, there wasn’t much left of me for my wife and kids. Not to mention, I’d have episodes of falling asleep at the wheel from end-of-day exhaustion.
I used to power my days with energy drinks, pre-workouts and caffeine pills. That’s all fun until it ends up with a trip to the ER and leaving with a heart-condition diagnosis.
I knew I had to change. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t given much of a choice. My wife forced me to try the burn + control coffee. I’d be lying if I said I was enthused about it. I didn’t want to lose any more weight. I wanted to just keep it off and build muscle. How is just coffee going to measure up to the energy I was used to?
This is where I will admit, I was very wrong. My workouts are now fueled by a shot of coffee every morning. And not a single pre-workout I’ve ever tried has given me the energy, endurance and consistent focus during my workout that I get with the burn + control.
