Months ago, five huge boxes were sent (via boat) to the Philippines.

Within these boxes, were assortments of clothes, blankets, shoes, toys, books, and so much more. Leading by example, Dollar Coffee Club president & CEO Stan Cherelstein spearheaded the efforts, helping bring so much more than the contents to its recipients.

Saturday, July 27th, an Outreach Program was held in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental, Philippines. Dollar Coffee Club partnered with MONHS Batch 97 and faculty, staff and volunteers from Canubay Elementary School to deliver these donations, food as well as school supplies to families and a community in need.

ā€œAt the Dollar Coffee Club, our core mission is to help others. In the Philippines, there are many children living in poverty whose families cannot provide even the most basic of necessities. We are so grateful, to be able to help these children put shoes on their feet, clothes on their back, and food in their bellies as well as provide school supplies which can enable them to get a better education. Providing assistance and support to the Philippines has been something we have done proudly for the past six years. We intend to continue this effort. ~Dollar Coffee Club President & CEO, Stan Cherelstein
